As registered auditors with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, we are able to carry out audits under the Companies Act 2006.

We take the audit as an opportunity not only to help our clients comply with their legal duties but also to identify risks or weaknesses in the client's systems.

Our approach to an audit is:

  • Meet with the client at their premises.
  • Find out what they do and how they do it to get an overall understanding of the business.
  • Examine the systems in use to establish their effectiveness in maintaining the financial security of the business.
  • Identify risks to the business.

After completing our audit work we report back to management with any points in the systems which need to be improved to ensure that the company is run as efficiently and profitably as possible.

Although the audit is a statutory requirement, we approach it as an opportunity to provide useful and relevant information to the owners and managers of the business.
